School Tours will begin on September 21 this year and run through Oct. 31.
We can schedule tours M-F from 9-5 daily.

Tours at Burnham Orchards offer insights into our continuously running orchard in Berlin Heights, Ohio. We are proud to grow over 27 varieties of apples, as well as cherries, peaches, pears, plums, raspberries, blackberries and pumpkins.

Throughout the fall, we guide tours tailored to visitors’ interests – whether picking apples out of the orchard, or picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. We will give a tour of the orchards on a hayride through the orchard, while discussing our history of the farm and showing the various trees. We also show how the apple-packing line and distribution works, also provide a narration about making sweet cider, and learning about cider apples at the cider mill window as they make fresh cider.

After the tour, visitors often choose to stop into our Farm Market and Bakery for some shopping. We also have a picnic area available for groups who choose to have a lunch break before leaving.

What to Expect

  • Picnic Tables available for lunch break
  • Handicapped accessible bathrooms

What to Bring

  • Dress according to the weather that day, or bring a jacket just in case.
  • Lunch to enjoy at the picnic tables ( if set up with tour guide prior to arrival)
  • Willingness to learn and have fun!
